Spring Flowers - Week # 120

Well I guess it's the week-end & what a funny day we had today (SUN) sunshine, hail & then sunshine again, suppose we mustn't grumble it is winter still.

This weeks challenge has been set by the hostess with the mostess our lovely Shelley the theme for this week is Spring Flowers & the fabby Sponsor is Stitchy Stamps but whats the prise I hear you say well it's $10 to spend in their store I'm so jealous (I wont it).

Store Bio

"Hi my name is Stitchy and I am Co-Owner of Stitchy Bear Stamps...we started this store April 1st, No Fooling ha ha..I live in upstate New York with my husband and two TEENAGE adults ha ha, I do say that loosely as they think they run the show here, NOT...

I been creating stamps for a little less than a year now and I am totally addicted to the craft..I started about 4 years ago making digital scraps and I knew there was much more out there, so a friend of mine introduced me to digital stamps...and the rest they say is history...I look forward to seeing all the beautiful creations come through...good luck everyone..stitchy xoxox"

Now for my card well I tried to be a bit clever & I really shouldn't because it doesn't work ha ha a five minute card took all afternoon, first I kept cutting it in half then the doily turned out to be too small for a card so I placed it on a square card I used a digi image the flower from the Marianne twice & entwined it. I used a freebie paper from Pink Petticoat, MS Punch, a 3D flower that I made up ages ago. I hope you like it as I thought the end result was OK.

  2. Beautiful, Janet! At least you did have sun - before and after the hail! Soon we will be in springtime and the weather should be better.

  3. I'm with you Janet, 5 minutes cards that take more than 5 hours, lol. At least yours turned out really beautiful. I like the little easel bit in the middle, what a brilliant idea.
