Another day no card..... but really sad news

I got some really sad News at Christmas from our lovely Robin saying the following

My Partner in Crafting Crime & Bows and Berries would like to thank all our followers for their support and inspiration in 2011...

unfortunately we will not be back with challenges in the new year but wish each and everyone of you the best in 2012!!!

I'm really sad as I had made some lovely friends whilst being on their Design team & I really enjoyed the challenges. I would like to thank Robin & Jenny for giving me a great opportunity it's a great shame but maybe who knows they may return & hopefully with me by their side, please wish them both all the very best for 2012 and the DT's on both Teams also. Happy New year everyone see you all in a week or two when things settle down & get back to normal XXX

No cards............... Just a wish

I do not have any cards to share with you all today this is my busiest time of the year working in a food store ( working both Christmas Eve & New Years too) my darling is still working away so have so much to do on my own before he comes home, so I want to take this opportunity to wish all my friends in blogland, all my Crafting Buddies & all my lovely visitors from all over the Globe a really Wonderful Christmas may you all get what you ask for also to wish you a GREAT New Year 2012. Week #161 @ OSCC

Well it's been another busy week for me personally I could have done without it it all began with me breaking my fave mug, then the car broke down when we should have been taking the little ones to a panto, then I was hit really hard with the bug that's going round so I also missed my Christmas night out ( can't wait to hear the tales from this one ha ha) so that was my week-end up the Swanee I really hope you all had a better one.

Week #159 @OSCC

Well hello think I might have to shout over all this wind they it's up to 43mph here in Lincolnshire, I hope you're all having a lovely week-end. I have had a lovely start my darling is hope for 2 days & we had the 2 grand children, tomorrow I start looking after baby Taylor and we also start play school so it's going to be a blast :).

Challenge # 36@ MPCC

Challenge # 36 @ My Partners in Crafting Crime CHRISTMAS TAGS

This will be our last challenge of 2011 so we have a nice and easy one for you.......


We are asking you to make a tag to put on a gift you can choose any design, shape & colour the choice is yours it also give you a chance to use up your bits & bobs, as you know this isn't my bag & do struggle with TAGS I would also like to thank everyone for their support on my last tag.

Yesterday I went to Kate's copic class at Grimsby Crafts (seems the only way to see my friends lately by joining in at a class), & yes I was camping outside as my buses go every half hr so what's a girl to do?. I think I'm now steam punked out now as I also made one for my son last week, ayway here is the card we made I will also show the inside & my practice sheet (Kate did the Green, Blue & Pink ones in Copics) I did the pinky one in promarkers but the feathering isn't very good TIPS are welcome.

Hello everyone I hope you had a good week-end I know I did apart from working Saturday but hey ho got to get the toy money from somewhere & I've got enough tree's to know it doesn't grow on them :) . Please don't think I'm having one of my usual senior moments this is a 2 parter blog the first being something I made for a friend who has helped me a lot with blogging stuff & that would be Kate for her birthday.

I hope you like this it was a bit fiddly to make but well worth it, would I make another? I don't know but at least I gave it a go & it turned out well for a first try.

Week 14 @ B&B

Hello everyone I hope you had a great week-end mine was the usual mad house Darling home for 2 days now gone back for 11 days how will I cope :)!!!! Today I'm going to Town with my over excited daughter to pick up her new phone, then I have to go to the council offices to sort out a tree problem & Building permission (hopefully get my workshop in the new year woo hoo)

This week at Bows & berries the challenge is tags, I don't personally like doing these as I don't think I do them justice the team have made some really nice ones, I am at the present having difficulties uploading my pics from my phone but my lovely friend Elaine Aka sparklingblackrose helped me with a bit of texting & E-mailing we got it sorted (cheers matey). So here it is let me know what you think to it I would really appreciate the feed back.


For this Tag I have used Craftwork card Ruffles, Poinsettia (old stock don't know if you can still buy them), gems from Dovecraft, Stamps from Inkadinkado plate # 98397, ribbon from stash & Hologram Super Sparkle embossing powder (don't know if you can see it).

This is my card it's from Humphrey's Corner Crafting Collection CD-Rom by Crafter's Companion, I was going to off set it so it couls be used as a twins card but as you can see I didn't.


For this card I have used: base card for Craftwork cards (old stock that I'm using up), CD (both image & papers) Pearls from Hobby House (a gift from Jane), Roses from the works, Ribbon & lace from my stash. I also used my favourite adhesive from Pin Flair /gel Glue.

Week #154 @ OSCC

Hi everyone hope you all had a good week-end wasn't the weather really good for Autumn well it's on to the Challenge over at ONE STOP CRAFT CHALLENGE and the challenge is No Pattered Paper easy peasy or for some mayb not there is so many ways but I was torn between stamping with clear versa mark then chalking or using mica powders & using an embossing folder so there are a couple of ideas. Happy Birthday week-end to me

Hello all my blogging buddies this a very good week-end for me 1. it was my birthday on Saturday & would like to thank everyone for their thoughtful wishes & 2. We was lucky enough to have the grand children for the night woo hoo just can't wait to find out when it will happen again. I got some lovely stuff too my son bought me a hoody jumper which is very warm, Laura & Taylor bought me some lovely crafty stuff from Top Town (Kanban kit cards, Chipboard flowers, birds etc.) and Vix made me some rather yummy choccies which taste lovely and she also bought me a ticket to go see Physic Sally. My birthday tea comprised of a Maccies, walk around the boating lake (the little ones wanted us to get a boat from the Island to which they are tied up to in the middle of the lake so Nannie could have a boat ride for her birthday.) then on to meet up with Grandad who was playing Squash & missed it all. I would like to share with you a couple of lovely cards that had been made from 2 of my crafting buddies.
