Busy Week Part 2

This is the second part of the post because I thought I might find a challenge or 2 to fit these posts both pieces have been altered the cage I just Gesso-ed it & put the leaves around, this necklace belonged to my son's Girlfriend Abby and it was the chain in the middle that was her's it started off as a Gaoler's Daughter Necklace (instruction from http://www.spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk) but thought it too long and added the middle chain, I thought it came out pretty good and my girls have tried to steal it so maybe it is ok.

I would just like to thank everyone who has taken time to come & visit me for the lovely comments and inspiration along the way.
This is where I am challenging it:

Busy Week part 1

As everyone knows I am doing the "Twilight Zone" up as my darling calls it so we have been very busy what with having to do my DT card, the little ones coming to sleep & working I thought I would make something for the room I got this cage from a skip at the church hall that I used to go to with friends every Monday asked if I could have it they said yes it's rubbish anyway I've had it since the beginning of 2011 as I asked for Ideas on what to do with it, it has been in my cupboard since I moved to this new house & thought i must do something with it so what do you think?

I found my little owl and put him inside can you see him?

Here is where else you will find him

great week-end

This has got to have been on of the best week-ends to date the Sun was shining there was an air display at Cleethorpes (every Saturday at 4pm in August), it all started with Grand children sleeping over and Granddad had arranged a game of squash at Cleethorpes Cricket Club and on the way I spotted the planes so he dropped us off at the beach to watch them. The children watched the planes near what used to be the Lifeboat Hotel which has now been pulled down then played on the beach for a while and walked around the Leisure Centre side of the beach and got some really good pics of the kids, we then walked around the boating lake with a promise to go in the paddling pool next time we were there. then back to the club & watched a bit of Cricket & yes I was clapping for the wrong team!!!

and I just had take this one

Sorry for the Photo over kill I just had to share them as I don't get the Kiddies very often now.

My get away .....

Well it's been a while since I last posted any photo's of our little project namely MY CRAFT ROOM so here are just a couple of pics to show how it's coming along then maybe a final pic next week when I have had time to get my stuff in. I have just been thinking it will be like having a great big delivery of stuff I found that had been forgotten, sugar I have so much stuff & then there's the stuff at the old house too I'm not sure I have enough room (is an extension out of the question? ha ha).

City Break

Good morning everyone and how glorious it is it reminds me of a song "the Sun has got his hat on" I really didn't think we was having a summer, I have got a lot to do this week lay down flooring, paint my walls & ceiling, paint the skirting .................. then I can move into my craft room WIT WOO.
Back to the present I have to tell you what a great Challenge we are holding over at OSCC it's called City Break and we have TWO great sponsors this week
 CRIMSOM CLOUD
and
WHIMSY STAMPS

This is my card I have been really good and used a lot of my stash that I seem to have had for ever like the lovely green Ribbon that I got from Running with Scissors about 2 years ago, my Tilda images that I really ever use and the free papers from a craft mag I seem to think they are My Mind's Eye. The only new things I used are the Stepper card blank (which if truth be known I was too lazy to cut) that I got from my fav internet shop everycraftsapound.co.uk you really should check it out and my Wild Rose Studio greeting stamp also a little bow.

Sorry for the photo over kill but I really like this card, hope you do too.
