Live in the moment

Good evening everyone where ever in the world you are I hope you are all keeping well, I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments you have been leaving.
I have been a little busy doing cards for people and this is one of the wedding cards I was asked to do (only another 2 for this lady) she wanted it Vintage also a bit burlesque what she didn't tell me the bride was very arty which panicked me a bit, I hope this is what the bride likes. I have been playing with my stash of late although I have just bought a melting pot and I have been inspired big time by a lady called Liz Welsh what she does with Friendly plastic and the melt pot is a must to watch.
For this card I have used:
Stamps from
Tim Holtz Urban chic # CMSO86 (background to heart and Sentiment)
Making Memories (wings) # 31843
Pearls from Hobby House
Karantha Heart mould
Kaisercraft DP from Porcelain collection (precious P1164)
Spellbinder's Lattice Motif Die
Fantasy Film (Which might be at least 4 year old)
various embossing powders
Feathers and Lace from stash
Diamond glaze ( hi-lighted Rose and Bird)
Copic marker for Letters (was silver)

Spots and Dots and a Goodbye

Well good morning everyone in blog land hope you are all keeping well I am still reeling over the news that OSCC is closing down and although I wasn't partaking in this challenge it only seemed fitting I should join Shelley and the Team in the FINAL challenge which is SPOTS and DOTS, the lovely sponsor is:

For this card I tried to do something that was using the sponsors papers and say goodbye to One Stop Craft Challenge at the same time because if Shelley hadn't given me the chance to challenge myself and others I would still be sat here watching, as I didn't think my work was good enough being my own worst critic and she proved me wrong. I have as you all know been pushing myself to try something different with craft stash and I have made this a digi card printing off the artwork and matting it onto a blank card so here is my card:

For this card I have used:
Sponsor freebie DP
OSCC Badge (used twice, one upside down for the border)
Craft Artist 2
Card blank, blue backing card
Flat back mini pearls from the Hobby House (my addiction)

This is where I'm challenging it:

This week at OSCC the challenge is a very good one and some people including myself sometimes struggle with it (in fact I was going to miss out this challenge due to this fact) but I thought about it and realized that it doesn't have to be hard and can be fun too. I seemed to have wondered off the challenge which is being sponsored by the lovely Fred She Said and the challenge is     KEEP It SIMPLE
So here is my card I don't think the recipe list has been so short!

Make your own background

Happy Monday everyone hope you all had a great week-end I know I did we had the oldest 2 Grand children again this week-end (we must be doing something right!) it was lovely we went to Cleethorpes to watch the Parade they have decided to keep running, then we watched a film. On Sunday we mended stuff that they had found broken including a skip and hop that Grace had bought on Saturday, we then baked some cakes for the party at School on the Monday followed by a walk in the woods at the back of the park across the road from my house finished by a yummy Chicken dinner and Strawberry surprise then home. We had just left home when we saw my Daughter coming down the road with the Taylor our littlest Grand son so we had to get back for him as he sleeps every Sunday until tea time Mondays as both Parents work full time.

Now on to our lovely Challenge at OSCC in case you didn't know it's just for fun this week and no Sponsor we just thought it would be fun to see what you came up with by making your own BACKGROUND I was racking my brain to what I could do, do I stamp and glitter or add Micro powders? Do I draw it, Paint it then the light bulb went on lets try that Embossing and Waxing technique I also thought about trying something called triptych so let me know what you think.

For this card I have used:
Kanban Roses from the Hobby House
Spellbinders Fancy Tags
Rangers Distressing ink (on edges of frame and Green DP)
