Week#95 Magnificant Maggie - How Sentimental

Happy Bank Holiday people look at the weather it's terrible any how it's the week-end again so it's another challenge over at OSCC (One Stop Craft Challenge) this week it's done by the lovely Maggie Bob and it's a Sentiments Challenge & yes I did find this a challenge which I usually enjoy, although I made this card ready for a friends birthday circumstances have made me change it to another card which I may blog at a later date.

I would like to share with you my card that I entered into the Running With Scissors Challenge for June/July I'm really dead chuffed as this wasn't the card I was going to enter first that was the one I made for Kate. this was a Whiff of Joy Challenge hence you could only use one of their stamps I got this from Doncaster at the Summer Craft Show & really needed to use it (I have a habit as I'm sure a lot of us do of not using what we buy). There was some beautiful cards & it must have been hard to choose from so I would like to thank everyone who voted for me.

Week #93- Lorraine - Oriental Delights

This is my Take on this weeks Challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge, I have chose a Kanban topper from Samuel Taylor
Peel offs, Flowers & Brads from Stash as you can see from the recipe I think it's called? it's a nice simple card.

Captured Image

My little blog for today is some photo's of A Captured Image Challenge that I entered at running with Scissors they were all wonderful (even though I didn't like mine much) but hey isn't everyone critical of their own work?, we had to get a jar & put a stamped image inside & doll it up to look like it was captured.
I spent many a late night at the bottom of the garden to try & capture these little beauties haha I hope you like them, some of the photo's are a bit dark or there's a glare from the glass but these are shy little creatures & had to get a shot when they wasn't looking ( how mad am I)haha. Enjoy

Few Quick Posts

I thought seeing as people will think I'm living up to my nick name (MAD) & I seem to have gone christmas mad I would start it off with my Poinsetta that I got first week last December isn't it doing well?, so following on from this post are a few quick cards hope you like them. Please excuse the re-cycling tin.

Only another 94 cards to go til November 11th because thats when Scout Post Stamps come out roughly and I would like to get them done before then (thats my target date) these too are touchy feely from the roughness of the stickles and the embossing of the Swiss Dots used on the oval. I hand painted Edwin with water pencils used papers purchased from Running With Scissors & Hobby House.

Santa is early

These are my touchy feely cards using (not so puffed up) puffy stuff on Santa's beard what happened there I dont know left it over night nothing happened haha, I also used Flock the trim on santa's hat & coat. I painted Santa with my water pencils as I'm still getting to grips with my Pro-Markers, the papers where purchased from Running With Scissors & Hobby House.
