Week 175@ OSCC

Good evening everyone near & far, I was looking at my counter at the bottom of my blog & was totally blown away by how many lovely visitors I'd had from so many different Countries then I started counting how many I had been to (not multiple visits to one place) and realised I'm not so well travelled as I counted it all on 2 hands. So on to why we all hop from one Blog to another and that would be to see what One Stop Craft Challenge (OSCC) well it's a lovely simple request and that is Clean & Simple which unless your like me & don't know when to stop is:-

Clean and Simple A design of card with clean lines, minimal elements, areas of white space and few or no embellishments.

Our lovely Sponsor for this week is       Phindy's Place
So why not pop over to check out the lovely Prise and to see what everyone else has made the girls have been working really hard, this is my card I hope you like it.

This is another easy card made with the free papers I got with a crafting Mag last month & yes they are still in the shops in the UK (Simply Cards & Papercraft) the papers are Webster's Pages I think it's called Western Romance & all About Me. All I have added to this card are a few gems, ribbon, glitter card & some Lacey stuff I bought to wrap around candles.
This is where I'm Challenging it:

Week #173 @OSCC

Good evening everyone sorry this is yet another delayed post it's been such a frantic week-end starting last Thursday & most of you know that story well the little fella is fine & all smiles, then I had my other 2 grandchildren for the night over Saturday & spent the afternoon party-ing with Taylor. We also got to find out that my Husbands brother was taken into the Stroke unit, he has now been released & has been told to take it easy. So it's another great Challenge over at OSCC and again we have 2 great sponsors with fabulous prises so here they are:
Shop Blurb

We are Mother and Daughter, Mary and Andrea and have always crafted (card making, scrapbooking, cake decorating, sewing, embroidery, soft toy making etc) and as well as keeping our own blogs up to date, we enter as many challenges as we can fit in and are also proud to be on various papercrafting Design Teams.
We were frustrated that we were increasingly unable to buy very small quantities of ribbon and lace and resented having to purchase a roll of 5 metres when we only needed one metre. Because we love ribbons, lace and all things sparkly and pretty, we decided to open our own online shop and make small quantities easily available to all crafters. Mary owns the shop and runs it on a day to day basis as well as keeping the website updated while Andrea looks after the social side in her spare time, such as the Ribbon Girl Blog and Design Team.
We specialise in supplying small quantities of ribbon, twine, vintage style lace and seam binding ribbon, tiny pom-pom and ric-rac trim, buttons, fancy pins, charms, pearl and crystal flourishes, wool felt squares, seasonal and unusual embellishments, mulberry flowers, sticky tape and accessories to card makers, crafters, scrapbookers and cake decorators. We stock only the best quality products such as Divine Twine, Berisford, May Arts, Zva and only offer for sale goods that we would personally buy and use ourselves.

Shop Blurb

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

So what is stopping you from joining us & don't forget it's all about the fun.
Here is my card I hope you like it.

Don't you just love these papers they are so inspiring I have already done 2 Challenge cards with them for OSCC.

Happy Birthday Taylor

Wow time goes so fast & it's birthday's like these that jolt you to think things like wow is it really a year since he was born, although yesterday he did give us a bit of a scare I was asked to baby sit while mummy went to do her NVQ course at work even though she is on holiday (only a couple of hours she said). Well I noticed at about 11-30 that he was a little blue above his top lip & thought he was a little chilly & put a jumper on him he was also really tired so I put him down for a nap, when he got up an hour later ( checking on him while he was asleep) he was still blue round his mouth so I woke him up & brought him down stairs, the fire was on to warm him up & as he was having his dinner I noticed his hands & feet was also turning blue. I phoned his mum & we went to hospital were they told us it was a fever due to a virus and left 3 hours later, he is now ok and having a really good birthday he has had so many visitors.
Here is a little card I made for him I think he will like it (it's a pop up). Thanks Netty for the Birthday Button.
