Week #167 @ OSCC

Good day Everyone I hope you're still having a wonderful week-end mine has been rather busy to say the least I wonder how we manage to fit some much in!!, Babysitting 3 different children on 2 nights, partying, car hiring, craft buying (Kate you have to pop to Katie's Cabin) I bought some really nice Kanban to make a lot of cards with the African feel to it.

Week #167 @ One Stop Craft Challenge started it's new challenge yesterday but with being sew busy (no I have not misspelt it) it's a little play on words :) I'm late posting it, the Challenge is Stiching, Faux or Real.
I hate sewing and when I saw what the challenge was for this week my blood froze aahhh but it wasn't as bad as I thought I did small area's which made it easier (sew) here is a word from our lovely Sponsor
Shop Blurb:

Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England, run by husband and wife team, Glenda and Adrian Waterworth.
We design and manufacture our own range of natural rubber art stamps as well as a range of paper-craft CDs that provide background paper designs, frames, tags and other artistic elements for you to print out and use in your greetings cards, scrapbook pages and other mixed media artwork. We also design digital art for you to download and use in your own art and craft projects.
As well as our own products, we also sell a select range of other art and craft materials – particularly things that complement our own ranges or things that we love and find inspiring ourselves. The art and craft industry being what it is, we're always on the lookout for new and interesting products, so things around here will be staying pretty fresh. You may also sometimes find "limited edition" or "pre-order only" items on our website, where we either make a product available for a limited time or only order items into stock if there is sufficient demand for a particular product that we wouldn't normally carry.

Hi everyone just thought I would share the best deal I've had in ages I went to a big Sunday Market in Lincolnshire and bought all these lovely babies, the prices at the top are what I paid, the middle is the price he was charging and the bottom are an estimate from the web (if you can read them)a saving of about £20-70.

Aren't they lovely I also got some beads & findings for when all my stuff gets packed away at the end of the month ready to extend my home, just thought it would be nice to share them with you.

Challenge #165@ OSCC

Hello everyone seems like I've been away for ever although in fairness it was last year :) I hope you all had a lovely Christmas & great New Year I really enjoyed it the only thing that spoiled it was it didn't last long enough.
We have a new challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge the theme is On the Spot and we also have 2 lovely Sponsors Ribbon Girl & Bugaboo Digi Stamps
Shop Blurb
We are Mother and Daughter, Mary and Andrea and have always crafted (card making, scrapbooking, cake decorating, sewing, embroidery, soft toy making etc) and as well as keeping our own blogs up to date, we enter as many challenges as we can fit in and are also proud to be on various papercrafting Design Teams.
We were frustrated that we were increasingly unable to buy very small quantities of ribbon and lace and resented having to purchase a roll of 5 metres when we only needed one metre. Because we love ribbons, lace and all things sparkly and pretty, we decided to open our own online shop and make small quantities easily available to all crafters. Mary owns the shop and runs it on a day to day basis as well as keeping the website updated while Andrea looks after the social side in her spare time, such as the Ribbon Girl Blog and Design Team.
We specialise in supplying small quantities of ribbon, twine, vintage style lace and seam binding ribbon, tiny pom-pom and ric-rac trim, buttons, fancy pins, charms, pearl and crystal flourishes, wool felt squares, seasonal and unusual embellishments, mulberry flowers, sticky tape and accessories to card makers, crafters, scrapbookers and cake decorators. We stock only the best quality products such as Divine Twine, Berisford, May Arts, Zva and only offer for sale goods that we would personally buy and use ourselves.

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

I am so excited I have been added as a guest of OSCC on Catch the Bug woo hoo
